Hosting
The site runs on a server operated by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. The server is located in Germany. [Data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR: still to be confirmed.]
Server logs
When the site is accessed, the web server stores the following in log files:
- the address requested
- the time of the request
- the amount of data transferred and the response code
- the referring address, if the browser sends one
- the browser identification
- the IP address
This data serves the secure and uninterrupted operation of the site. The legal basis is legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. It is not combined with any other data. [Retention period: still to be determined.]
Cookies
The site sets a single cookie:
pll_language— remembers the language you chose. It contains nothing but the codedeoren. Lifetime: one year.
It is set and read by this site alone and is not passed on to anyone. Further cookies are created only for signed-in editors, not for ordinary reading.
Encryption
The site is served exclusively over HTTPS. The certificate comes from Let’s Encrypt.
What this site does not do
- No analytics, no audience measurement, no tracking.
- No external fonts. The typeface used (Libre Franklin) is served from this site’s own server. There is no connection to Google Fonts.
- No embedded third-party content. Audio and video files are hosted on this site’s own server; nothing is embedded from YouTube, Vimeo or comparable services.
- No contact form. Contact is made through the email address given above; the terms of the respective provider apply.
- No comments.
Link to Instagram
The site links to an Instagram profile with an ordinary link. Following it leads to Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.; only then is data processed there. Before the click there is no connection to Meta.

You have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and the right to object (Art. 21 GDPR). Please direct enquiries to the address given above.
